Local artists invited to submit works for Artist’s Harvest Exhibition

August 29 2025

AUBURN, Ala. – Artists are invited to submit their autumnal or Halloween-themed works for consideration in the Jan Dempsey Community Arts Center’s (JDCAC) Artist’s Harvest Exhibition. All works must be family friendly. Exhibition registration opens Sept. 2 at auburnal.myrec.com and closes Sept. 19. Artwork must be dropped off at the JDCAC by 8:30 p.m. on Sept. 19. The exhibition will be on display Oct. 1–Nov. 4.

Artists interested in participating in the Harvest Market can also register beginning Sept. 2 at auburnal.myrec.com. Registration for the market closes Oct. 8.

The JDCAC will host an Artist’s Harvest Exhibition Reception and Market on Thursday, Oct. 9, from 5:30–8 p.m. in the JDCAC Art Gallery II and Ceramics Studio Patio.

Guests will enjoy a gallery reception featuring food, music and artwork by local artists. Visitors are also invited to shop the Harvest Market, where JDCAC-affiliated artists — including Ceramics Independent Studio members, Open Studio members and instructors — will sell their handcrafted creations.
